Ingredients

1 pound smoked sausage (kielbasa or andouille work great)

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Wooden skewers (if grilling)

Instructions

Prepare the Sausage: If using whole smoked sausage links, cut them into bite-sized pieces or diagonally into thick slices. If using smaller links, you can leave them whole for easier skewering.

Make the Glaze: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir continuously until the mixture is heated through and the sugar has dissolved, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Coat the Sausage: Place the cut sausage pieces into a large bowl and pour half of the honey glaze over them. Toss to coat the sausage evenly.

        Grill or Bake:

          - If grilling: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Thread the sausage pieces onto the wooden skewers if desired. Grill the sausages for about 8-10 minutes, brushing with the remaining glaze, and turning occasionally until they are caramelized and heated through.

            - If baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sausage pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are nicely caramelized, brushing with the remaining glaze during the last 5 minutes.

Serve: Remove from the heat and transfer the glazed sausages to a serving platter. Drizzle any leftover glaze from the baking sheet or grill over the sausages. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for an extra touch of color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve warm and watch them disappear! Perfect for parties, game days, or any gathering.
