1 pound ground turkey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

For the Watermelon Salsa:

2 cups seedless watermelon, finely diced

½ cup red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, finely minced (seeds removed for less heat)

¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt to taste

Prepare the Turkey Mixture:

    In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed.

      Shape the Skewers:

        Take a handful of the turkey mixture and mold it around the skewers, forming elongated shapes. Ensure they are packed firmly but not too tight. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

          Preheat the Grill:
