Ingredients

1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cacao)

1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch of sea salt

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1/4 cup crushed graham crackers (for garnish)

Fresh raspberries or strawberries (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Begin by melting the dark and milk chocolate chips together in a double boiler, stirring gently until smooth. If you don’t have a double boiler, you can use a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.

In a separate saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and salt. Heat over medium-low heat until mixture is warm, but do not let it boil. Stir continuously until well blended and smooth.

Remove the saucepan from heat and add the melted chocolate mixture along with the vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined and the chocolate is glossy and luscious.

If using, fold in the chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch.

Pour the chocolate mixture into a greased 8x8 inch square baking dish. Use a rubber spatula to spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers on top for an extra layer of texture and flavor.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set. Once firm, use a sharp knife to cut into squares or rectangles.

For serving, place the squares on a plate, optionally garnish with fresh raspberries or strawberries, and a light dusting of cocoa powder.
