When crafting the perfect cheeseburger sliders, the first crucial step is mixing the ground beef with seasonings. However, it’s essential to approach this task with care to ensure that your patties remain juicy and tender. Over-mixing can lead to a dense texture that is far from ideal.

Ingredients

For the Sliders:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

8 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)

8 slices of cheddar cheese

8 slices of crispy bacon, chopped

1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced

Fresh lettuce leaves, for garnish

For the Burger Sauce:

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon pickled relish

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce:

    - In a small mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, pickled relish, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Set aside.

      Make the Patties:

        - In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine, being careful not to over-mix.

          - Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and form small slider patties. Make a slight indent in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

            Cook the Patties:

              - Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.

                - Cook the slider patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned. Flip them over and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and the meat is cooked through to your desired doneness.

                  Assemble the Sliders:

                    - While the patties are cooking, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping the top and bottom halves intact (like a sandwich).

                      - In a rectangular baking dish, place the bottom halves of the rolls. Spread a generous amount of the burger sauce on each bottom half.

                        - Once the patties are cooked, place each cheesy patty on the bottom half of the rolls. Top with crispy bacon, dill pickles, and fresh lettuce.

                          Finish Up:

                            - Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls on the sliders. Optionally, brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds for an extra touch.

                              - Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes to warm through.

                                Serve:

                                  - Remove the sliders from the oven, slice them into individual servings, and serve with extra burger sauce on the side for dipping. Enjoy your juicy, flavorful viral cheeseburger sliders!
